In one of those great stories that baseball has, Sandber Pimentel appeared as a pop-up for the Eastern stars in the ninth inning with two outs, in the round robin bout of LIDOM before the Giants of the Cibao.
The 27-year-old left-handed player, who does not yet have an agreement with the organization of MLB, hit a home run on the wing, to leave the Cibao team on the ground, with three RBIs.
