All these accusations could lead the MLB to suspend him for inappropriate conduct as has happened before with other high-level players. This would obviously affect the White Sox team build for the 2023 season.
Olivia Finestead, was, according to ESPN, the woman who accused Clevinger before the authorities. The young woman indicated that she suffered “various acts of domestic violence and child abuse.”
The San Diego Padres, the pitcher’s former organization, communicated to the public about this event. “We are aware of MLB’s investigation and fully support its efforts under the joint domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse policy. Due to the ongoing investigative process, we are unable to comment further at this time.”
