PWInsider has announced that AEW at Dynamite in Lexington will pay tribute to ROH Tag Team Champion Jay Briscoe, who died in a car accident. For some reasons it failed a week earlier. On the show, Mark Briscoe will make his in-ring debut in AEW against Jay Leethal. People associated with ROH are additionally invited to the recordings.

Jay Briscoe’s funeral will take place on January 29 at the Laurel High School gymnasium. The funeral will be private.

AEW announced that Britt Baker would be unable to compete in a three-way match at Dynamite due to an injury and that Tony Storm and Ruby Soho would face off in a singles match instead.

Prior to NXT, tapings for Friday’s episode of Level Up saw former Bellator star Lola Weiss (Valerie Loreda) make her WWE television debut in a losing effort to Dani Palmer. Lola Weiss played her first match in WWE on house show NXT November 12, 2022.
